The Allegheny County Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) is ending July 31, 2022.
What this means for you.
- If you applied for ERAP and haven’t been paid, we still need documentation from you. Please respond to calls or emails from ERAP staff so they can help you complete your application before July 31, 2022.
- Unfortunately, if you are not beginning eviction proceedings or in active mediation, you are no longer eligible for ERAP assistance. There are other resources available.
What you can do.
If you have a pending ERAP application, please provide the required documents to complete your application by July 31, 2022. We must receive this information by July 31, 2022, at 9:00 PM, or you will no longer be eligible for assistance through ERAP.
Log back into your application with the username and password you created. The notes section of the application will list which documents you still need to provide, and you can upload them right into the application.
2. Take a picture of the documents with your phone and email to: Rental Assistance @ ActionHousing.org. Please include your T-number and last name in the subject line of the email.
Not sure what documents are accepted? Download this list.
Contact ACTION-Housing at 412-248-0021 or email ACTION-Housing if you need help with the application. Since ERAP is being phased out, denials cannot be appealed if your application is not approved by July 31, 2022.
You may not be getting evicted right now, but we know you may still need help too. Please call the Allegheny Link at 866-730-2368 or email AlleghenyLink @ AlleghenyCounty.us to talk to someone about your needs.
